Maslow hierarchy
We have decided to utilize Maslow's hierarchy of needs with the addition of his sixth level intrinsic values. Each section of the site is broken down from the Pennsylvania Special Education Sub Competencies for leadership. These competencies were developed for candidates to show an understanding of special education within the school ecosystem. We intend to use these competences as a springboard for interweaving Maslow's Hierarchy with interventions for three possible formats of education; virtual, hybrid, & brick/motor.
The importance of the lower rungs of Maslow's Hierachy is expanded upon through the link below. These foundational rungs are vital effectively implementation any of the sub competencies and so can be considered universal. Each sub competency then has a clearly defined determination to each of the following three rungs within it's subsection of the site.
