Download and File Transfer Applications

cURL is a command line tool for transferring files with URL syntax. Getleft and wget are used for downloading multiple files from a website. FlashGet follows links from a web page and downloads the additional pages. μTorrent is a BitTorrent client that can help you if the download connection stops too often for the same large file (e.g. a Linux distribution ISO file). WackGet is a download manager. Cyberduck, SmartFTP and WS_FTP LE are FTP clients. Cyberduck and SmartFTP can also be used with SFTP. Cyberduck can also be used for WebDAV and with Amazon S3, Google Docs and Windows Azure.
