Introduction

Add Alarm

How to add alarm to an event that has already been created.

Double-click the event. Press the date for the event, because there is no "Alert" button.

Calendar (OS X 10.8)

Comments: Alerts

You have to turn on alerts in settings before you see them. That's why after sync my iPod Touch calendar alerts didn't show up on my Mac (9/2012).

Comments: Wrong calendar

Mac's Calendar will always choose the worst calendar for your needs, so uncheck Gmail account calendar, if you don't use it. Actually, remove your Gmail account (from Mac, not the whole account), because it will be used anyway, no matter what the default calendar is (4/2013).

Comments: Syncing calendar with iPod Touch and Mac

Problem: I was using my secondary Gmail account for calendar sync, but my iPod Touch calendar didn't get synced with Mac's Calendar. Even with the "Default Calendar: Home" setting iPod Touch will not sync with Mac's Calendar (2/2013).

I thought this was the solution, but I don't connect my iPod to the Internet much: On Mac's iTunes, connect iPod Touch to Mac and go to "iPod Touch", "Info", "[x] Sync Calendars". Also, on Mac's Calendar, select "Preferences", "Accounts", "iCloud", "[x] Enable this account" (2/2013).

Solution (because I don't connect my iPod to the Internet much): on calendar view under "iCloud" tick off [ ] Home and [ ] Work and don't use iCloud stuff (3/2013).
