Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini Settings
Introduction
Here are my Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini settings. This is the older Xperia with Android 2. See also: Android App Settings.

Note: unresponsiveness is not resolved with a restart, because in a day or two, the problem appears again because of low memory. See below about clearing cache.
Note: if the phone feels unresponsive/laggy, clear cache for: *Browser*, E-mail, Gmail storage, Google Plus, Market, Messaging, Speed Test, Video, Wifi Analyzer, YouTube. Usually only clearing cache for Browser works.
Note: I've tracked down what causes the fast screen turn off after typing PIN code when it's time to draw "password" pattern: using Airplane mode starts the problem. What fixes the problem: delete caches for various apps and restart phone.
Note: if you have changed Google's password (using a computer) only way without resetting the phone to change to the new password is to select the notification "Sign-in error for ... @gmail.com" and then give the new password.
Note: to copy and paste, press the text box (for example in Gmail app) long and select "Select All" and then "Copy".
Note: with Browser, switch to another website (for example Facebook or Apple) if you can't connect to Internet with Browser (strange browser bug).
Note: instead of using Airplane mode when the display is turned off press On/Off button and slide the speaker icon from right to left (no vibration) (no need to give "password" pattern). Or simply turn off phone.
Note: Album problem: Album shows images slowly: remove all .thumbdata - files and .jpg files in DCIM/.thumbnails directory and restart phone.
Note: in Finland with Kolumbus K1 turn off Roaming (June 2011).
Note: in Finland with Saunalahti Norppa+ turn on Roaming, because Saunalahti network uses Elisa network (September 2011).
Wallpaper
Note: Use the default Xperia wallpapers, and you can move from screen to another faster and more fluidly. Probable reason is that the Xperia wallpapers have the size of the screen, but the initial pictures in the Album are larger than the screen, so the phone needs to do some calculations when switching from one screen to another.

Icon Screens
Note: Most used icons first (approximately), then phone functionality apps (contacts, camera, notes, settings), then social apps (facebook, twitter), then phone support and extra functionality apps (backup, fm radio, setup guide), then games and so on.
Note: Maximum number of icons per screen is 9, but I use less because I tend to reorganize the icons sometimes.

Comment: turn off Bluetooth when not in use, or the phone will restart with no apparent reason (12/2012).
Does not work with: iPod Touch 3rd gen. with iOS 5 (11/2012), HTC HD7 with Windows Phone 7.5 (11/2012).
Works with: Mac Pro with OS X 10.8, both ways (11/2012), Nokia Asha 300, both ways (11/2012).
On Mac: remember to turn on "Bluetooth Sharing" to be able to transfer files to Mac.
