Google Groups 1 Sites

There Are No More Original Google Groups (GG1) Sites

There have been no GG1 sites since July 28, 2005. Every GG1 site has been switched to GG2 site, even if the GG2 site has a half-finished translation or there is no translation at all done to the GG2 version. Examples: http://groups-beta.google.com/group/google.public.support.general?&hl=afhttp://groups-beta.google.com/group/google.public.support.general?&hl=bshttp://groups-beta.google.com/group/google.public.support.general?&hl=euhttp://groups-beta.google.com/group/google.public.support.general?&hl=hrhttp://groups-beta.google.com/group/google.public.support.general?&hl=mrhttp://groups-beta.google.com/group/google.public.support.general?&hl=nehttp://groups-beta.google.com/group/google.public.support.general?&hl=tlhttp://groups-beta.google.com/group/google.public.support.general?&hl=twhttp://groups-beta.google.com/group/google.public.support.general?&hl=ughttp://groups-beta.google.com/group/google.public.support.general?&hl=urhttp://groups-beta.google.com/group/google.public.support.general?&hl=xx-borkhttp://groups-beta.google.com/group/google.public.support.general?&hl=xx-klingon Background: Since about December 2004 you have only been able to post new messages with the original Google Groups, but not reply to articles. Since about May 2005 you haven't been able to post even new articles with the old Google Groups. History: Google acquired DejaNews February 2001 and turned it into Google Groups (GG1). Google Groups Beta (GG2) was puslished on May 2004: http://www.google.com/press/pressrel/pressrelease48.htmlhttp://groups-beta.google.com/group/google-labs-groups2/msg/ac47a94f69203edbhttp://www.google.com/corporate/history.html You can give feedback about Google Groups using the GG feedback page or the GG forum or via email: http://sites.google.com/site/tomihasa/google-general-faq#groupsproblems
