Introduction

Here are some surge protection devices (uninterruptible power source, UPS) I use or have used to protect my devices.

MGE Protection Center 500

Power line surge protection. 8 connectors. All 8 connectors surge protected. 4 connectors also with battery protection.

Modem surge protection (or telephone protection). Two RJ11 ports (in and out).

Monitoring. One RJ45/USB port. A special RJ45/USB cable provided. Compatible network devices mentioned: "Network Management Card MiniSlot 66244", "Network Management Card Transverse 66074", "XML-Web card - 66073". Compatible software mentioned: "Enterprise Power Manager 50 nodes", "Enterprise Power Manager Gold Edition".

UPS power. 500 VA / 300 W.

Average battery life. 4 years.

4 connectors. All 4 connectors surge protected. 2 connectors also with battery protection. Backup time: up to 12 minutes. Item number: 15899 (according to package).
