Launchpad Settings
Introduction
Here are my Launchpad settings. (Launchpad was introduced in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.) My first strategy was to organize applications into three groups: 1) content grouped by category (browsers) and by use (programming), 2) more specific stuff (Blackmagic, Google) and 3) uncategorized miscellaneous applications (outside folders/albums). My current strategy is to use 1) folders/albums organized by category, use, device or company and 2) miscellaneous applications organized by name. How to remove apps from Launchpad
In Launchpad, press and hold the Alt (⌥) key, or click and hold the app icon, until it jiggles, and then click the cross next to the app (source)
How to remove apps from Launchpad installed by Steam
Remove the game shortcut from Users/<username>/Applications (source)
