Nothingness

Artist's Statement:

For this project, the goal was to take 3 sets photos through something with holes, one with a subject, and one without. We were then going to use photoshop  to erase certain certain sections, so that through some of the holes the person was not visible.

For one of these, I did it last minute and used two stacked stools, which I thought would be bad, but turned out to be one of my favorites. I like that its not as obvious, and that the shapes are more irregular.

One thing that I might have done differently would be to give more effort to the original photos. I think that it would have been more interesting if I payed more attention to lighting and composition.
