Maker's Mark

I started by drawing many different designs, and then narrowing down to the ones that I liked best.
the carving was difficult, because I found that I wanted to make things perfect, and that doesn't work well with clay that still has moisture.
I found that it is much easier to clean up the edges of really detailed work like this when it is bonedry and you can "sand" it down with a needletool.
