Artist's Statement: 

The main idea behind this piece was the prompt "draw a truck with legs instead of wheels".  I knew that I wanted to make the legs not only one type of animal, but a kind of hybrid of a lot of different animals to make it weirder looking.
I used a pen that flows really nicely on bristol paper, and it was really easy just to let my hand do the work and let go.
At first, I thought I wanted to make it more cutesy looking, with watercolor, a big sky, kind of ghibli looking, but then I started drawing and I realized it would be cooler just to let myself run wild, and just draw. I ended up adding a lot of details in the background, eyes in random objects, odd-looking creatures peeking out at you.
