Overarching inquiry question: How can we protect our planet?
the 3rd, the wind power one, because it feels the most finished, and has full color. I also think that it looks the cleanest, and the most precise.
the second, because I still need to do the background, and the details are hard to see. I had hoped to make a colored paper background for it.
I keep switching between what is endangering our planet and how we can help, and I feel like I need to have more concrete path, just one of these. This is tricky because I feel like my inquiry says I should focus on solutions, because that would be protecting out planet, but also the problems are warnings.
I feel like connect these two paths by having problems and then solutions, maybe putting them side by side. for instance, here is the problem, and then the next work would be the solution. I feel like this could work, except that I don't know all the solutions, so I might change my inquiry to just be the problems.
I feel like I should explore something with oil paint and oil fracking. I think that exploring the use of more materials that would end in the trash otherwise would be interesting.
I feel like it is developing in the direction of problems, and I want to reverse that and also focus more on solutions, which is difficult. It is so much easier to focus on the problems because they always get more attention.
I should have a lot more color, because it makes the works feel more finished, and adds more visual interest. I also should focus a lot more on my backgrounds. I feel like I should also focus on developing a style to make it look more cohesive.
