DB A:443 - Deed, 7 Nov 1774, John Mintor and wife Elizabeth of Chatham Co to Abraham Womack, for 100 pounds, 120 acres MOL in Chatham Co, on north side of Deep River about 6 miles above the fork beginning at a corner white at the mouth of the creek below the Plantation, thence running up the river to a hickory chopt [sic] corner tree, thence northward by a line of marked trees to the back line to a corner pine, thence eastward to the sd creek to a corner red oak, thence down the creek to the beginning. Signed John Minter (seal), Elizabeth Minter (seal). Witnesses: Jas Brantley, Thos Brantley, Benj Brantley. Chatham court Feb 1775, acknowledged by John Minter, "Eliza the feme being first privately examined" relinquished dower.

Signed James his B mark Booker (seal), Pheby her + mark Booker (seal). Witnesses John Wommack, Valentine his V mark Braswell. Chatham court May 1779, proved by Valentine Braswell.

DB B:360 - State of NC #124, For 50 shillings per hundred acres paid by John Wammock, have granted to John Wammmock 386 acres in Chatham Co on S side Cape Fear beginning at a red oak on the River Side and running W 203 poles to a pine stake, thence S 140 poles to a post oak, then E 80 p to a stake, then S 140 poles to a post oak, then E 80 poles to a stake, then S across the creek 86 poles to a post oak at the county line, then along said line E 326 poles to a persimmon at the mouth of a gut at Cape Fear River, thence up the same 309 poles to the beginning.

Signed Albridgton Wommack (seal), Witnesses William Wommack, John Womack Sr. Chatham court Aug 1818, proved by oath of William Womack, who proved the handwriting of John Womack Sr who is dead.
