Feb 14 1825 reel 192 Book 4 page 118 Supposably: Jacob Womack's WILL recorded in Book "F" 13 Oct 1845 in Hamilton Co., Tn. McMinn Co., Tn. 2 Jul 1834, Deed Book "C" pg 248, from Tapley Gregory to Jacob Womack 160 acres---150 dollars. See McMinn Co., Tn. Mary Wills mother was born 18 Dec 1747 (documented) she had been married and had two children prior to Mary's birth. Doesn't seem hardly possible that Mary could have been born ca 1760, her mother would have been 13yrs of age and already birthed two children. (NOTE: Census Gives 10 year range 1760-70, so entirely possible). Possibly the below Mary is another Mary Wills, as her husband Cole's given name was suppose to be John(John Cole m. Mary Wills, Aug 1772, Charlotte Co VA, documented). Lets not forget that the mother of Mary Wills was a Whitlock before marriage to George Wills.(NOTE: The will of Mary Cole names Daughter Mary Wills with Jacob Womack named as either a witness or administrator. Had a copy, but the marriage record of Mary and John Cole and a land record of Jacob and Mary Womack, formerly of KY now Rhea Co Tn to Edmund and Mourning Womack of Nottaway Co VA) are now missing.

William & Mary Quarterly Vol 15 p 24. Data from Register of St. James Northam Parish p34 Capt James Cole & Mary Wills; Mary born 18 Dec 1747; Janey born 26 Sep 1751; W. born 31 May 1753; Catherine born 2 May 1755 NOTE: The reference to Capt Cole and his consort is trash and misleading. As is the documentation of Mary's mother metioned above. Totally unaubstantiated and merely a filler in some peoples genealogies.. Possible SHE may have been related to George Wills who married Mary Whitlock. But she WAS NOT the mother of Mary Wills my 4th great grandmother! Other than that, no biznezz in this genealogy! As a matter of fact, until this month, I had serious doubts about Jacob's parentage until reference to a marriage record of a William Womack, Jacob son of Alex Womack as surety was mentioned to me,,it seems this document has been in someone's dusty archives for awhile.
