John Warmack of Habersham Co, GA

Unknown father of John Warmack married Sarah LNU; she next married Jesse Putman.

There are two other Wamack families in America, here and here.

John Warmack is shown on the 1850 Census of Benton Co, AL as age 61, born in SC, but he was likely older, born about 1785. The 1850 Census lists John's first name, but initials for the others in his household, including his apparent wife "S", born circa 1799 in SC. Some of the children have been identified, but four children, ranging from 10 to 17 in age, have not, raising the possibility that were not Warmacks at all, but children of "S" from a previous marriage. The two youngest children, Lewis B Warmack aged 6, and Susannah Warmack aged 4, have been found in the 1860 Federal Census of Haralson Co, GA, and may have been John's only children with his final wife, "S". He was likely married twice before "S", given the long span of years during which his probable children were born.
