We had our first Highpower match of the winter today after a couple of month’s layoff. It looks like the layoff was good for Ken Gill or he’s been practicing. Ken whooped up on all of us with a very respectable 784-33X which included a ‘Clean’ in Rapid Fire Sitting. He only dropped 2 points in both prone stages combined. Nice shooting!
The As-Issued Military Rifle Match brought out some old favorites. Larry Fulmer walked away with honors after shooting a 281-7X with his Enfield . I think Doug Albright was the happiest though. Doug brought a 1903 Springfield that he had never shot. Looks like that rifle has some promise.
Our next match will be on 20 Nov. The start time will be pushed back to 10 AM. Hope to see you then!
