We had our first Highpower Rifle and Vintage Military Rifle Match of the winter at Eielson AFB CATM Range on Sun, 21 Oct 12. It was good to see everyone after a few months absence. Congrats to Chuck Herbert on his winning score of 758-17X in the Across the Course Match and to Gene Scarboro for his 280-5X in the Vintage Military Rifle Match. It was a nice day to shoot with temps starting out near Zero and rising to 20F by the end of the match.
As we move farther into winter, please be reminded that our start time will move to 10 AM and showtime of 9 AM. Our next match is Sun, 18 Nov 12. Also, our temperature cutoff is -20F. We usually take the NWS or NOAA Observation at 1 hour prior to showtime as our data point.
