Hutchison High School Coaches

Hutchison Rifle Team started shooting just 3 years ago with the help of Greg and Trish Yocum.Born and raised in Fairbanks, and was a member of the College Cubs Rifle Team with Joe Nava when she was in High School. She is thrilled to have been the Head Coach for Hutchison High’s Rifle team since the inaugural year two years ago, Both Greg and Trish are employed by the FNSBSD, Shooting sports play an important part in her life, and have also had the opportunity to work with and coach youth and adult trap shooters. Both have NRA Rifle Instructor Certification, NRA Rifle Coach Certification and I have completed the ASAA coaching education requirements including the National Federation of State High School Associations Fundamentals of Coaching course and the American Red Cross First Aid certification. Additionally, Trish is certified in both adult and child CPR and AED.

Both are competitive, accomplished trap shooters and host a high school invitational trap shooting day each spring to introduce the high school rifle teams to another shooting sport. been active in many community activities including Fairbanks Trap Club, Trap Commissioners for the International Senior Games since their 2003 beginning, coaching at FTC, St. Raphael's Catholic Church.
