The Mountaineers jumped the Nanooks and Kentucky in the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association last week. The Nanooks fell to No. 3.

Today’s match against the Mountaineers is set to start at 4 a.m. AST while the conference championship begins at 5 a.m. AST Saturday and 4 a.m. AST Sunday.

The Nanooks will be represented by senior Mike Liuzza, junior Ryan Anderson, junior Mats Eriksson, sophomore Tim Sherry and sophomore Lorelie Stanfield.

The Patriot Rifle Conference was formed last summer and is made up the Nanooks, Ohio State, Air Force, Nevada, TCU and Texas El Paso.

This is the first season that the Nanooks have been a member of a conference.

In the conference championship, the teams will shoot smallbore on Saturday and air rifle on Sunday.
