The Alaska Nanooks rifle team finished a two-match road trip with a 4692-4646 victory over No. 10 Texas Christian University.
The Nanooks shot 2331 in smallbore and 2361 in air rifle. The Horned Frogs fired a 2318 in smallbore and 2328 in air rifle.
Ryan Anderson led all shooters with a 589 in smallbore, while Mike Liuzza led all shooters with a personal-best 593 in air rifle.
Tim Sherry shot a 587 in smallbore to go with Lorelie Stanfield’s 580, Mats Eriksson’s 575 and Dan Geer’s 565. Liuzza also shot a 574 in smallbore.
Following Liuzza in air rifle, Eriksson shot 591, Anderson shot a 590 and Sherry had a 587.
The Horned Frogs were led by Megan Lee, who topped her team with a 584 in smallbore and a 590 in air rifle.
Following Lee in smallbore were Sally Li at 581, Hannah Black at 580 and Kelly Bogart at 573. In air rifle, Li shot a 583, followed by Catherine Green at 581 and Jamie Dowd at 574.
