Hutchison on a rifle range roll

FAIRBANKS — For the second straight week, the Hutchison Hawks received strong performances from Amy Gentry and Gabe Stutz.
Gentry and Stutz were the top two shooters in air rifle and smallbore as the Hawks beat Delta and Tok. The Hawks finished with a score of 4,339 followed by Delta at 3,847 and Tok at 3,836.
Gentry led all shooters with a 587 in the air rifle, beating her score of 571 from last week. Stutz was right behind Gentry, shooting a 573. Garrett Snyder (533) and Charlie Mcneill (528) rounded out the Hawks air rifle team.
Stutz and Gentry led all smallbore shooters. Stutz (543) finishing in first and Gentry (542) in second. Emma Daniels shot a 525 while Snyder shot 508.
Kirsten Pearson led Delta’s air rifle group with a 541, followed by Alex Matthews at 519. Zoey Hensley shot 513 and Kael Knight finished at 501.
In smallbore, Matthews led Delta with a 513 with Knight second on the team at 503. Hensley finished at 416 and Igor Glushko shot 341.
Tok was led by Huck Woody, who led the team in both air rifle (505) and smallbore (496). Ariel Brooks was second on the team in both events, shooting 502 in air rifle and 483 in smallbore. Madison Tito (461 air rifle, 437 smallbore) and Annie Sanford (492 air rifle, 460 smallbore) also shot for Tok.
