Introduction
There are various approaches to designing and design processes. The design process we will study in these units will reflect the work of professional designers in industry but will also relate to the work you do in your own major project for Component 1 of your IGCSE.
In the first year of your course, you will have the opportunity to undertake a small design and make project in preparation for Component 1 which you will start after Songkran next year.
The work covered in these units will therefore prepare you for your major project but also the questions in Paper 1 which will focus on Product Design.
