Final Product Images – 1 – 2 Sheets

To close your portfolio, it looks effective if you include a few photos of the final product displayed clearly on a final slide. You can use the photo booth in Mr Douglas’s workshop to take professional looking images to display in your portfolio. Take a look at the examples below for what you should be aiming to achieve:

You could also include a short final product video, to show your product working or any mechanisms that are part of it. If you do this – make sure you save the video file in the same folder as your portfolio submission!

If you have a basic knowledge of ADOBE Illustrator, it really benefits your portfolio if you use it to place your product in situations, such as being held by a hand, but with the hand just as an outline so that it does not detract from the product itself. You could also use these to create example sales advertisements, as if you were to advertise it in shop windows or on a billboard.
