You will receive two blocks of matching hardwood. The top piece will already be filled with resin. This piece will be 100mm x 40mm x 40mm. The bottom piece of hardwood will be 100mm x 30mm x 40mm
You will drill a small hole into the bottom piece of hardwood. This will be a 12.5mm hole. You will need to drill approximately 20mm.
You will sketch your design for the top of the piece of hardwood.Â
Then you can cut out your design using a range of subtractive workshops tools including a Coping saw, Tenon saw, Scroll saw; Chisel.
You will then place your shaped hardwood base into the mould and pour your resin - 2 pours.
Once removed from the mould you will then shape your resin and hardwood block
Add any chamfers or rounded edges to your design to improve the aesthetic appearance
Remove all scratches. Wet and Dry the edges and then add polish. Solder the switch to the wires
Assemble, test and photograph
