Examination Paper 3

Typical questions that you will be asked are based around either Woods, Metals or Plastics and how you could manaufacture a small part; modify a product; or make a prototype in a school workshop using workshop equipment (usually hand tools). We will add lots more content here for typical questions. Note, if you answer any question with 'wood', 'metal', plastic' you will not get any marks! You have to name examples i.e. Oak, Teak, Mahogany, Rosewood, Ash etc.; Aluminium, Mild Steel, Brass etc.; Acrylic, ABS, PET (clear bottles), HDPE (milk bottles), Polycarbonate (PC), High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) etc.
