End of Term 2
As we reach the end of another term, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their continued dedication and hard work. Their commitment to our students and the school community does not go unnoticed, and it is truly appreciated.
A special congratulations goes out to Mr Elliott for successfully completing his final teaching placement. We wish him all the best as he embarks on his future career in education. His journey is just beginning, and we are excited to see all the wonderful things he will achieve.
We hope all students have some time to relax and rejuvinate. It’s a great opportunity to shake off any illnesses and enjoy quality time together. We hope everyone returns to school healthy and ready for a productive new term.
Students will return to school on Tuesday 22 July, and we look forward to welcoming them back for another exciting term.
Enjoy the holidays, everyone!
Communication with staff
At Mulwala Public School, we believe that open communication between parents and staff is essential for the success of our students. We wholeheartedly welcome your questions, feedback, and concerns, as they play a vital role in our collaborative efforts to support your child's education.
We understand that you may wish to discuss matters directly with your child's teacher. However, we kindly ask for your understanding that teachers have various responsibilities both before and after school hours. To ensure that we can dedicate the necessary time and attention to your inquiries, we encourage you to make an appointment for face-to-face meetings with teachers. This helps us provide a focused and productive discussion regarding your child's progress and any concerns you may have.
For your convenience, we also invite you to communicate with us via Class Dojo or through our school email at mulwala-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au. These platforms allow for efficient communication and ensure that your messages are received and addressed in a timely manner.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Together, we can create a nurturing and supportive environment for our students to thrive.
Student Reports
As we approach the end of the term, our teachers have begun the important task of writing student reports. These reports are a valuable tool for reflecting on the progress each student has made throughout the semester and play a crucial role in guiding their future learning journey.
In these reports, teachers will provide an overview of each student’s achievements, highlighting their strengths and the skills they have developed. This is an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication that our students have shown in their studies. Recognising individual successes not only boosts student morale but also encourages them to continue striving for excellence.
Equally important, the reports will identify areas where students can improve. Constructive feedback is essential for growth, and our teachers are committed to providing clear, actionable insights that will help students focus on their learning goals. By pinpointing specific areas for development, we aim to empower students to take ownership of their learning and seek support where needed.
We understand that these reports are a significant part of our communication with parents and guardians. They serve as a bridge between home and school, allowing families to engage in meaningful discussions about their child's progress and future aspirations. We encourage you to review these reports together, celebrating achievements and setting goals for the next term.
The student reports will be distributed on Friday 4 July.
