New Teacher
I am pleased to inform you that we will welcome Mr James Southam to our school as a temporary teacher next term. Mr Southam comes to us from Lowesdale Public School. He is a very experienced teacher, especially teaching in small schools and teaching mult-stage classes. Mr Southam will be teaching Nungara.
Stroke correction lessons
In preparation for the swimming carnival, stroke correction lessons will be held each afternoon from Monday 2 February- Thursday 6 February. These lessons will be for the students who are ab le to swim 25m and will be entering compeitive eveents at the carnival. Infoamrion will be sent out when staff return to school next term.
Swimming carnival
The 2025 school swimming carnival will be held on Friday 7 February at the Yarrawonga pool. All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will be involved in the carnival. Details will be sent out at the beginning of Term 1.
Thank you
I would like to thank Mrs Rosmulder for replacing me as principal for the past 2 weeks after I unexpectedly ended up in hospital. Mrs Rosmulder was able to ensure all the end of activities occurred as planned.
Return to school
Staff return to school on Tuesday 28 January. The office will be open on staff only days.
All students return to school on Monday 3 February.

The students enjoyed their excursion to the movies to watch Moana 2. A big thank you to the yarrawonga Golf Club for providing the movie and some popcorn for the students.
On Tuesday evening the Year 6 students were joined by the Year 5 jarmbies and staff for their graduation dinner. Mrs Thorpe, their Kindergarten teacher, also went along. A big thank you to Lake Mulwala Bakery for providing the graduation cake.
Dear Year 6 students, as you stand on the brink of a new adventure, take a moment to reflect on all that you have accomplished during your time at Mulwala Public School. You've grown, learned, and made friendships that will last a lifetime. As you move on to high school, remember to embrace every opportunity and continue to strive for excellence.
