COVID 19 Advice
Students and staff should stay home when sick. Students, staff and visitors should only attend school when feeling well and symptom-free. Follow NSW Health advice on Testing and what to do if you have COVID-19
Parents and carers of children with persistent or ongoing COVID-19 symptom should discuss these with their local health care professional. These symptoms may be related to other illnesses (such as allergies or hay fever) and benefit from treatment and management by a doctor.
From the start of 2024, rapid antigen tests (RAT) are no longer available free of charge to schools. NSW Health recommend Testing for COVID-19 if you have symptoms and are at higher risk of serious illness.

I recently attended Stewart House for 10 days. At Stewart House you get to do lots of fun activities. Here are some of the activities we did off site: Taronga Zoo, Sea Life Aquarium, Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, Manly Ferry, Madame Tussauds, walk over the Harbour Bridge, ten pin bowling and a bbq.
Some of the onsite activities included: hair salon, woodwork, pottery, Aboriginal education, emotional regulation, beach safety, Life Education Van and tie dye.
We also had cabin activities. Some of them were: loom bands, nail polish, hama bead, board games, colouring, drawing and playground. It was really fun.
There are 3 really important rules:
Be safe
Be kind and fair
Have a go.
At Stewart house the day before you leave there is this thing called the High Five Shop where we got to spend the 'dollars' we earnt following the rules. There were toys, Lego, scarves, blankets, fidgets and beanies. It's an amazing experience and it was really fun.

The theme for 2024 is 'Everyone belongs'.
When we all feel like we belong, bullying struggles to find a place. It's about embracing who we are, respecting everyone's differences and standing up together against unkindness.
Belonging means we all have a role in preventing bullying. We're encouraged to speak up and create a safe place where everyone feels supported and respected, and our voices are heard and valued.
The students enjoyed bringing their teddies to school and having them particiapte in their learning. Our teddies represented divesristy and that we welcome everyone into our school.
Thank you to Mulwala Preschool for joining us in our Teddy Bear's Picnic.
Broad brimmed hats are now available at Judds Mensland in Yarrawonga.
Beanies are available at the front office for $5.
The next P&C meeting is on Monday 9 September commencing at 7 pm. New members are welcome.
It is a requirement of the P&C association that all members complete a Declaration for Child Related Workers. The completed form needs to be returned to the school office.
