Yesterday, we welcomed our Executive Educational Leader, along with two visiting principals, for our annual School Improvement Visit.
This was a valuable opportunity to showcase how we deliver our curriculum through a consistent instructional framework across the school. The visiting team spent time in every classroom, observing learning and speaking with our students, teachers, and school leaders.
We are very proud to share that the feedback was highly positive. The team were particularly impressed with “The Evatt Way” and the strong, consistent approach to teaching and learning evident across the school. Most importantly, they highlighted the positive impact this is having on student learning and wellbeing.
This feedback is a wonderful reflection of the dedication and professionalism of our staff, as well as the engagement and effort of our students. We thank our whole school community for their ongoing support.
We enjoyed a fantastic morning at our Cross Country Carnival, with perfect conditions for all involved. It was wonderful to see every student, from Kindergarten to Year 6, participate in the event and give their best effort. The house spirit on display this morning was outstanding.
Congratulations to the students who placed in their respective races and will go on to represent Evatt at the district Cross Country Carnival next term.
A big thank you to our parents and P&C for providing the BBQ lunch, and to the many parents and community members who came along to support and encourage our students.
Finally, thank you to Mr Frankcom for his excellent organisation and coordination of the event.
Family Connect will be hosting soccer clinics in Term 2!
Sessions will run after school- see poster for details.
