Summer is well and truly here. The ACT Emergency Services Agency has issued an alert for severe weather conditions for parts of the ACT from today until Saturday 9 December 2024.☀️

A reminder for our students this week to stay safe in the heat and:

🧢 wear sunscreen, seek shade and wear a hat

🥪 use insulated lunchboxes to keep food at a safe temperature.

Children are more vulnerable to heat-related stress. Our staff will be keeping an eye on the weather over the coming days and modifying activities to help keep everyone safe. If your child feels unwell at school they should let a staff member know immediately.

For more on heat-related stress, visit ACT Health’s website
