It will be hats off from next week. Please encourage your child to bring their hat home from school so it can be stored until hats are back on next term.
We have seen a range of differing reasons for children being unwell over the past few weeks. A big reminder that if your child is unwell to keep them at home until they are well again. If we all play our part in doing this, it helps reduce the spread to other students and staff at school.
Parent Portal is now available. It is a secure online platform used to share student information between you and your child’s teachers.
Some reminders about Parent Portal:
If you already have a Parent Portal account, use this Parent Portal access link to start using the great features.
The website can only be viewed using a web browser on your computer, mobile phone or tablet. An app is not available at this time.
If you still need to register, you will need an access key and a Parent Portal registration link via email to link your existing account to your child’s records. If you haven’t received this, please contact the school’s front office team for assistance.
A day that we look forward to… or not. On Wednesday, children from Evatt Primary all had their photos taken. There were individual, class, siblings, band and for year 6 graduation. (Mrs Frost will hand out notes later on for the band photos.) Everyone looked amazing and we hope you love the photos.
On Wednesday last week, Liam and Erin Ezzy both went to City Hill to meet the Chief Minister to talk about how to improve the City Hill Park. Both Liam and Erin were accompanied by Principal Mr Hatswell, and our wonderful LSA Bella . Everyone shared ideas on ways to improve the park. Some of the ideas mentioned were a lookout, a fence to make it extra child friendly, gardens, picnic tables, public bathrooms, pathways and lighting. It will be interesting to see what the final decision will be.
