Week 1:
Federal Election: Vote @ Evatt Primary School - Saturday 3 May
Week 2:
Mothers Day Stall - Tuesday/Wednesday. 6/7 May
Welcome back for Term 2. We hope our students and families managed to have a nice break. We are looking forward to an exciting term ahead. A big reminder that if your child or children have any flu like symptoms to keep them at home until they are well.
Its not to late to clink on the link and register to provide some help to our fabulous P&C tomorrow.
The P&C will be running the democracy sausage BBQ as well as a bake sale and a raffle.
If you can help on the day please sign up here: volunteersignup.org/CJM84 or using the QR code below.
A reminder to stock up on raffle tickets tomorrow when you vote. All funds raised go to our P&C and in turn Evatt Primary School.
Our P&C are inviting all students to purchase a gift for their mother or special person next Tuesday. It will also be running on Wednesday as a catch up and for our End of the Week Preschool group.
Pre purchase vouchers using the QR code or this link http://square.link/u/9Eb6m8Ep
All Evatt students from P-6 are participating in the Chief Minister’s Reading Challenge. The students are challenged to read 30 books before September 12. They are adding books to their record sheet every week during their library lessons.
Books they read at home are also eligible to be counted. Students are encouraged to keep track of any books they read fully and add those titles to their records at their next library lesson. I have no doubt that the students will all complete this challenge and earn the right to choose the books that are added to the library as the reward.
Happy Reading everyone!
