Year 5/6 Camp

Our Year 5/6 students had an absolutely fantastic time at Camp Birragai this week! Over the two action-packed days, they took part in a wide range of activities, tackling challenges with enthusiasm and resilience, even in the chilly weather. It was wonderful to see all students showing such respect for themselves and each other, working together as a team, and making our school community proud.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff who gave up their time to support and guide our students throughout the camp. 

Market Day

Well done in advance to our Year 5/6 students, who will be running a wonderful Market Day in Week 7 (28 Nov). All students at Evatt Primary School will have the opportunity to make their way around the different stalls and enjoy the exciting activities on offer. This special day has been designed and organised in conjunction with the Year 5/6 HASS Economics unit of work. Our students are looking forward to this hands-on learning experience and can’t wait to showcase their creativity and teamwork. Make sure you have jumped online to purchase your child a sausage sizzle lunch. 

The Evatt Way

We warmly invites all current and new families to join us on Thursday, 20 November 2025, for our presentation of “The Evatt Way” as we prepare for an exciting 2026 school year.

This session will provide an overview of our approach to teaching and learning at Evatt, including information specifically designed for families of 2026 Kindergarten students. Over the past couple of years, we’ve introduced a number of new strategies to further enhance our learning environment, and we look forward to sharing these developments with you.

The presentation will be held in the school library from 5:00–5:30pm, followed by a Q&A session. There will also be an opportunity to view uniform sizes.

We hope you can join us to learn more about the vibrant, supportive, and innovative educational experience we offer at Evatt.

Reminder - Library Book Returns 

Overdue library notices have been handed out.  If you haven't done so already, we kindly ask you to check carefully at home for any listed books and return them to the library as soon as possible.

If you believe a book has already been returned or is lost, please highlight the title on the notice slip and return it to Mrs Bultitude in the library. If you're unable to locate a book, please double-check before notifying Mrs Bultitude.
