A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Evatt community for making EvattFest such a memorable celebration last Thursday evening! The hot weather certainly didn’t get in our way, and it was wonderful to see our students performing with such excitement in front of so many family members and friends.
A special thank you to our amazing P&C for organising the free and fun activities that brought so much joy to our students throughout the evening.
Finally, a big shout-out to the wonderful staff of Evatt Primary School. Your hard work, energy and enthusiasm were instrumental in making this event such a resounding success.
On Tuesday morning, students will take part in a Move Up session where they will meet their 2026 class and teacher. They will spend time in their new classroom, helping them feel prepared and confident for the upcoming school year.
Teachers will send out an introduction message through the parent portal in the new year, which will provide an avenue for contact should you need it.
Students not returning in 2026 will attend the session in the library, and our Year 6 students will participate in activities at the preschool.
Next Tuesday we will be holding our FeatherFest Fun Day for all students. Throughout the semester, students have been working extremely hard to earn feathers for being safe, kind and focused, which give them access to a range of fun activities on the day.
Please keep an eye out for our upcoming FeatherFest communications.
A reminder that student reports will be emailed to parents and carers today. If parents are expecting duplicate copies and this doesn't happen please reach out to the front office so we can provide this. If parents need to touch base with classroom teachers prior to the end of the year, please reach out through the portal.
As we wrap up our final formal newsletter for 2025, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Evatt Primary School community for your support throughout the year. The partnership between our families, students, and staff has been wonderful, and we are proud of the community we have.
We wish all our families a safe holiday break.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2026 for another year filled with growth, connection, and exciting learning opportunities.
Each year, we take the time to farewell staff who are moving on. I’d like to sincerely thank the following staff members for their wonderful contributions to Evatt Primary School. We wish them all the very best for the future.
