A big welcome back to term 3. We hope that our students and families managed some quality time together over the break. We have enjoyed hearing the stories from our students over the past few days about the holiday adventures and we look forward to a great term of learning ahead.
We kindly remind families to avoid approaching teachers for information sharing just before or during class time. At Evatt Primary School, we value every minute of learning, and it’s important that teaching time remains uninterrupted.
If you need to pass on a message, please do so through the front office. If you'd like to have a longer conversation with your child’s teacher, you're very welcome to arrange a meeting, either by emailing the teacher directly or contacting the front office to book a time.
Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us prioritise learning.
Our wonderful P&C would love to see as many parents/carers as possible at the upcoming P&C Meeting. Details are below.

We are thrilled to again offer this wonderful opportunity for ACT Public Schools staff, students, parents and community members to come together through music as part of the Step into the Limelight Arena Spectacular.
No prior singing experience or music reading skills are required - just a love of music, community spirit, and a willingness to have fun.
Rehearsals will be held on Mondays from 6:00-7:00pm at the Instrumental Music Program (IMP) - UC High School Kaleen, commencing Monday 27 August (week 2 term 3) through to Monday 2 November (excluding school holidays).
The choir will perform alongside students at the Step into the Limelight Arena Spectacular on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November.
Places are limited to 50 participants, and successful applicants must be available for all rehearsals and performances. You can sign up to take part HERE. There will be a $30 participation levy charged to cover the cost of repertoire, printing, accompanist and other expenses relating to the Community Choir.
