Theme - "Red Beard, an an old pirate that needs your help to collect all the treasure stones to get access to the next game level." Its kind of a Super mario-ish type game.

I chose this game for the compelling mechanics* that work very well. I've been playing this for a while and it hasn't gotten old yet. Yet its flash, so I only play it when I get really really bored.*
Visually not amazing... but addicting yes.
The goal of the game is to get to each finish line as fast as possible, therefore getting the most points. In order to actually get good at the game (this is the addicting part) you have to remember each puzzle or path that you figured out to get there more quickly. Also it is a jump quest, so it takes thought, quick decision making, and sometimes the player is rushed,* like on some levels there is rising water, so even after you figure it out, your bound to make many mistakes, thats why you have to keep trying!
This makes for the game to never get boring, because no matter how much time you spend, you can only get better at it.
(14 levels starting from easy to hard.)
In the beginning of each level there is a Sign indicates how many "treasure stones" needed to make platforms move, Collect the stones.
Then Figure out the puzzle by jumping on the moving platforms...
Yes, sometimes there buttons too...
Also you may encounter monstas and rising water levels...
To reach the Goal, and go onto the next level.
After the 14th level, you can send your score in, and see how you did.
and... this is not the Hi-score version...

Very Simple Rounded art. You could play this game on a gameboy color if you wanted... Nothing special.
But I think it fits the style of the game because the game is good because it is simple.
No Music.
3 levels of sound:
Jumping- is the lowest
Collecting marbles- mid pitch
Goal- highest pitch
For its own type of subtle build up of excitement.
