Frogs is considered one of the early platform genre games and is one of the first games to include a projected color background.
Gremlin Industries entered the mark in 1977 and marketed six games that year. In '78 they marketed 3 games including Frogs. In '79 they merged with SEGA.
You can move you frog left and right, you can make your frog jump up and catch bugs.

Visual
The bugs and frog are white in color and are animated. The frog had animations for hopping, jumping up, falling down, catching a bug and even falling in the water!
The field of play included a projected full color static background.
The game had sound for the frog when it jumped, as well as when it caught a bug.
