Boomshine

The flash game Boomshine is a very simple game with few mechanics. The main and only mechanic a player can use is to click on the screen to initiate a "blast" that radiates outwards, causing other dots that hit it to do the same. Very simple, yet how the player uses this mechanic depends on victory or failure.

Timing is key in Boomshine. If you don't click at just the right time, you won't get the necessary "bursts" to pass onto the next level. Because of the random pattern the dots travel in, the game is different every time, even when you fail a level and have to start over, the travel pattern is different.

The game doesn't have very many levels, but because of the different variations of game play, the game continues to be addicting and interesting. The soothing music and calming colors also add an allure to the game, making it quite popular on the internet.
