Work
Tetsuya Nomura has a visually distinct anime-like style that can easily be recognized. His own personal taste in clothing, jewelry and hairstyles influence his designs, creating an offbeat flavor while still being acceptable and quite likeable among casual gamers. Characters are not the only thing he works on. He was needed to help create storyboards for animation sequences, summon beasts, artistic logos, symbols and monster designs. Nomura participates heavily in the creation of the game's graphics and prefers 3D renders to still drawings, he does this mainly so that his designs turn out the way he wants.
