After high school, Jaffe went to USC to originally go after his dream of a career in flim, though he was never actually accepted into the film school they had. When that didn't turn out Jaffe turned to games, first working for Sony and coming out with games such as Mickey Mania. Jaffe eventually left Sony (2007) to form his own game company known as Eat, Sleep, Play. It was out of this company that the Twisted Metal games, for which he is know, were born for the PS1, PS2, PS3, and eventually the PC as well.

Both on and off Game Design Jaffe is known to speak his opinions without hesitation, as well as go into details about the makings of his games. Jaffe is often said to be different from other Game designers as he has no fear of talking to the public himself, sometimes not even just things about games but about anything that can be talked about.
On all five Twisted Metal Games Jaffe was the director.
(Twisted Metal: Black)
Jaffe was also the director of God of War.
It is simply listed that Jaffe worked as a designer for his
many other games such as Mickey Mania, Jet Moto,
Calling all Cars! (Which got him some less than
positive feed back) etc.
