Work

The game Torchlight was designed largely as single player dungeon adventure game, much like the Diablo series. However, where Diablo tries to take a realistic art approach, Jason Beck is very cartoonish in his art style. One of the things he is most known for are his unique creatures. One of his larger focuses in the art style is the "miniature" approach. many of the creatures and characters he creates follows a specific anatomy that shortens limbs and follows simple shapes and designs.

Project

Jason Beck created many of the creatures and characters that live in the Torchlight world. It was his most well known and succesful work and has grown in popularity since it first came out. Many people love his cartoon art style.
