• Musicology studies at the ‘George Enescu’ Conservatory (at present, University of Arts)

• Participation in Piatra Neamţ at the summer courses of Stylistics and Musical Analyses (led by the composers Ștefan Niculescu, Anatol Vieru and Aurel Stroe) as well as those of Byzantine Musical Palaeography and Byzantinology of Professor Gheorghe Ciobanu (1975–1980).
