10PEW: Year 10 Physical Education and Wellbeing

The Purpose of Junior PEW is to empower our young people to be fully engaged in their holistic wellbeing - for life.
At the end of two years, what are our students leaving with?

A drive for personal academic success
A continuing appreciation of physical activity, health and nutrition
This holistic course looks to help students learn a range of health, well-being and activity related topics, through the scope of Physical Education and Health. Students will simultaneously work through learning topics related to Health as well as Physical Education, with class time split between practical and classroom learning as required to meet the needs of both strands of learning.
This course (as was the case with the Year 9 course) will report on ongoing student development of the following key skills: critical thinking, demonstration of skills, attitudes and values, and application of theoretical concepts to learning experiences.
