Level 3 Physical Education

PED300: Level 3 Physical Education

Head of Department:

Mr Scott Leggett

Course Description

This course is designed for students who have an interest in a pathway within the recreation, community sports, or fitness sectors including coaching, managing, refereeing, playing, organising, training, activating,  guiding, and empowering others through physical activity and sport. As such, learning focuses on  all aspects of sport (an holistic approach to sport). There is a strong focus on students being connected and involved in facilitating/giving back to physical activity and sport organisations within our community. This means it is expected that students in this course will be role models for others (especially junior students, and those from Stream's feeder schools).

Timetabled class time will be split between practical and theoretical learning tasks.
