Year 9 Music

Course Description 

This introductory course is aimed at students who have little to no musical experience and want to gain skills on a variety of musical instruments. This course aims also to develop their musical literacy skills through practical and written exercises. Boys are also encouraged to take private instrumental tuition through our instrumental music programme to complement the classroom programme.

Assessment

Students are assessed on the above topics. Evidence for assessment is varied and includes performance, recorded music, workbook pages, documentation of process and development, and self-reflection. Internally assessed.

If taking ITM music lessons on woodwind or brass, a $15 hire fee per term is required.
