TM4T Techniques 6.1.1.4 - Assessment: Diew and Review
Steps 4-5 Do it and Review it
Reviewing is not an abstract step - it requires specific further action. If a teacher - you - has identified an issue with assesment workload, then they should take action, or plan action, as described above.
You should also record, on your Yearly Plan, a review point. The review should include:
- how accurate were your guesstimates of how long marking and other assessments actually take?
- are your assessment strategies working?
- how are you coping with your workload?
- how easy was the previous time period, compared to what is looming ahead?
Then, you just do it (follow the plan) and review it (changing the plan if necessary)
