You need to have access to the following as a minimum:
a PC or a laptop, with reasonable desk-space to use it as a workstation;
a printer (black and white) for some of time;
Office software including the following (OpenOffice, MSOffice, MSWorks are all fine):
word-processor
presentation software
spreadsheet
access to the Web on a fast connection
a Web-based e-mail account
a memory stick (at least 1Gb)
somewhere (on either a school server or home PC or external hard drive) a drive where you have space both to store and back-up data (assume at least 50GB)
Ideally, you also want (but do not need):
access to a flatbed scanner
