Question 6

The STABLING Quiz Part 6 - Difficult situations

Your timetable has been changed. (Again, 'no' is not an option). You will be teaching a notoriously difficult class on alternate weeks. This means you must liaise with another teacher (who you don't know). The curriculum is also unfamiliar. How would you feel? Listed below are eight statements - which do you agree with most? Or disagree with least?

Choose TWO statements - no more, no less.

A) I would like some time to myself to think about the best way to handle this.

B) I want to know exactly who is doing what and how this is going to work.

C) I'm happy to allocate the work out between myself and the other teacher

D) My natural sense of urgency will make sure that we sort this out.

E) Whatever happens, I will keep cool, think logically, and review whether the arrangements are working

F) When we have decided who-does-what, I'm confident I can do my bit

G) If the class isn't making progress, I would take the lead and change things

H) I wouldn't worry about this; I'd wait to see how it went then decide what to do
