TM4T Techniques 3.1.4 - Self Awareness - Personality Type

We all differ in our personalities, but it is likely that we conform to one of a fairly small group of personality types. Each type of personality type has strengths and weaknesses, and it is valuable to know how these might affect us at work. Do we find it easier to start a task than to finish it? Are we reluctant to try new things? Are we easily distracted from our key tasks? Or do we carry on working obsessively when we should really move on to something new? The more we are aware of our potential failings, the easier it is to overcome them and achieve our goals.

There are a variety of ways to classify personality types and a range of ways to measure these and document our strengths and areas of risk, including online assessment tools to improve your understanding of your own profile. To find out more, click here.

TM4T does not use Prioritisation as a key technique, but your personality type will influence how you tackle different priorities. Read more here.
