Permissions management

The program accesses the public extended memory to allow you to save here data and results files and access files that have been placed there. The goal is to facilitate the backup of your files (they will not be lost if the program is uninstalled) and sharing these files with other applications.

If you have a version of Android prior to 6.0, the corresponding permissions must be granted at the program installation and can not be changed.

With Android 6.0 and higher the corresponding permissions are not requested at installation but at program launch and can be changed at any time.

At the program start will be displayed a dialog requesting to grant the "photo, media, and files" permission with 3 possibilities:

    • grant the permissions,
    • deny the permissions,
    • deny and check the "Never ask again" box.

If you grant permissions, the program will access the public extended memory files, and the question will not be renewed at subsequent launches.

If you deny the permissions, the program will not access the public extended memory and you will not have access to the corresponding functions. If you have not checked the "Never ask again" box, the request will be renewed the next time the program is launched. If you have checked the box, the request will never be made again.

If you later regret granting permissions or denied with checking the box, you will be able to modify the permissions with the application manager (accessible by Settings), by selecting the application then the permissions.
