Exporting results

Introduction

Export functions also allow you to export the main results of a project as a "pdf" file.

As for project data files, program does not take in account "case" in file names, and forbid the same characters.

You have the same options as for saving data :

• save in public or private external mobile memory,
• sending to an application planned to take into account pdf files,
• import by other mobile applications that will launch this program to select a file to import .

PDF file content

The PDF file content can be selected when created between following:

• items (tasks, events and groups) table with begin and end times,
• items table with margins,
• Gantt diagram,
• Dependencies diagram,
• items tables with responsibles and workload,
• workloads repartition table,
• items detail,
• project detail.

PDF files characters sets

PDF has defined standard fonts (Times, Helvetica, Courier) with a 8 bits character set said "WinAnsi" limited to ISO 8859-1 characters (superset of ASCII for west Europe and America) and some special characters (currencies, fractions...).

You can use a more extended character set including in Pdf file the corresponding font definition.

The program allows to choose between two options:

• use only standard fonts (Helvetica and Courier), with their limited character set, other characters will be replaced by "bullets" (big points),
• use Helvetica standard fonts, and your mobile "Roboto" fonts which have 1000 to 3000 characters set following Android versions, and cover European regional needs, Greek and Cyrillic alphabets...

The option will be chosen for each file creation, with a default option defined in settings.

Date formats

The practice in matter of date formats vary with the country. The program uses the short date formats defined by Android for country and language selected on the mobile.
